Finance Committee Report: Office moved to Aurora for Aldis gift cards; taking time. Nothing on insurance yet. Aldis gift cards out and has to go to coprorate. They have not deposited the check yet. Grace moves to use budget funds Purchase Jewel or Aldis cards to suppliment until the Aldi Cards come in. Iris - Seconded

Rental is $30 a week. Ati donates for rent. To make sure Ati's donation also goes to food depository.

Grace moves that add the equivalent of Ati's rental payments in the amount of $150 to give to the food depository. Iris second. Unamoniously passed

Insurance requirements we are good and only one person yet not handed in. Background checks will start in january 2026.

Pastoral Search Committee:

Candidate, came to the conclusion that since a lot of our members have mobility issues that he come in as a guest preacher not knowing he is a candidate to see how people feels with his preaching.

Elizabeth: Come to speak would be good to see what he likes. Just check him out like everybody else. Larry agrees.

Grace moves that candidate comes in as a guest preacher without anyone knowing he is a candidate. Larry seconded. All in favor.

Jason: He hit all marks as a listener. Iris: He was able to distinguish between Jason and I. He disginuished his approach different yet appropriately. He really listened and was present. Grace: We were concerned because he was high energy wanted to confirm if he was a good and present listener. He already has ideas about connecting the neighborhood organizations with our Church. Proactiveness is important too.

Laptop Ministry: Nothing to report No new donations yet

Phone status: Phone paid is about ~$60 Jason: Need to change the phone number Jake: Recover the password. Got locked out of the account trying to get in.

Pastoral Contract: Pastor Carey's Contact Ends December 31st. Should we allow the contract to end and say our goodbyes this month. Plan a final goodbye for pastor carey.
